Spice up your water.

When cold and flu symptoms creep into my house I push fluids in a serious way. Here are a few ways to make water less BO-ring, especially to kids.

Citrus Water:

You’ll find this refreshing and tart. I’ve seen it in some fancy hotels, but you can be a 5-star house of health for just pennies.

  • Crushed Ice
  • Water
  • Sliced Lemons, Oranges, Tangerines, Limes, etc.

 

Spruced Up Seltzer:

You’d be surprised at how little juice it takes to satisfy your little ones (or yourself!).

  • Crushed Ice
  • Seltzer Water (or Carbonated Water or Sparkling Water)
  • A Few Ounces of 100% Fruit Juice
