I couldn’t agree more. These are great. This healthy smoothie can satisfy even my intense sweet tooth. Using frozen bananas is the key to keeping the flavor naturally rich without adding any additional sweeteners. I buy up all of the old bananas that my produce manager is trying to get rid of at .29/lb. I peel them and toss them in a gallon-size freezer bag. The bags stack nicely in the freezer and I can use them for any other baking adventure, like banana pancakes.
- 5 frozen bananas
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 3 heaping tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- Blend until smooth.
