Layered Valentine Pops

Yield: 6 Popsicles

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Frozen Strawberries, mashed up with a fork
  • One batch of You Tickle Me Pink Valentine's Day Smoothie
  • 6 4-Ounce Plastic Bathroom Cups (I purchased mine at Walmart)
  • 6 Tongue Depressors or Popsicle Sticks
  • Snazzy Ribbon (optional)

Instructions

  • Microwave the frozen strawberries for about one minute or until it is able to be mashed up. Squish the strawberries with a fork until they no longer have their shape. Place about a tablespoon of the squished strawberries into each plastic cup. Next spoon on the smoothie until the cup is about 3/4 full. Finally, drizzle any remaining strawberry juice on the tops of the cups. Freeze for 3 hours or overnight. Decorate with a little ribbon right before serving.

Notes

Try replacing yogurt for the milk in the smoothie recipe to make frozen yogurt pops.
