Some days I have no patience in the kitchen. I want instant yumminess. That’s where a food processor comes in handy. This sweet treat is marvelously refreshing and it takes a whole 5 minutes.
Just like my 5 Minute Strawberry “Ice Cream” recipe, this one relies on the magic of a food processor. Add 3 cups of frozen strawberries and 2 tablespoons of honey to a food processor and let it rip! Process on high for about 3 minutes and then scrape down the sides.
Process until it is uniformly smooth. Taste and add more honey as your taste buds direct you.
Garnish with sliced almonds or a drizzle of chocolate. To make your own chocolate drizzle, just use the same method I used for my Monkey Pops.
I served this to my kids during the week of Valentine’s Day. It was a hit with all three of my monsters.
- 3 Cups Frozen Strawberries
- 2-4 Tablespoons Honey
- Garnish with sliced almonds or a drizzle of chocolate.
- Place the frozen strawberries and 2 tablespoons of the honey into the bowl of your food processor. Blend on high for about three minutes and then scrape down the sides. Process until you see a uniform texture in the bowl. Taste and add more honey as your taste buds direct. Process again for another minute to incorporate the final blast of honey.
- Serve immediately with a drizzle of chocolate or sliced almonds.
